MinAssist Overview

MinAssist offers expertise in development and optimisation of minerals processing projects across a wide range of commodities. We are global leaders in a range of areas from geometallurgy and ore body knowledge, through the process life cycle to tailings rehabilitation and reprocessing. We have extensive experience working with all types of mining organisations, with particular expertise in helping junior companies take their project from exploration to development.

Founded in 2006 by Dr Will Goodall, MinAssist has focused on generating greater value from process mineralogy within mineral processing operations. As global experts in mineralogical characterisation MinAssist has always focused on the use of mineralogy from a metallurgists perspective, allowing for development of innovative solutions focused on value generation.

Over 15 years MinAssist’s expertise has grown to include a wide range of capabilities focused on mineral processing development and optimisation. We have supported and run scoping studies, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies across a range of commodities. We have developed and managed both fundamental and practical research projects, maintaining a focus on leading cutting edge innovation within the industry. We have always maintained strong links with operations through optimisation projects, audits and due diligence. More recently MinAssist has explored the digital mineral processing plant and built a strong suite of skills around simulation and analytics that can help our clients stay ahead of the curve and maintain productivity while ores become more complex to process.

Our balance of skills makes MinAssist ideally suited to assist with complex problems and projects. We have been involved with all stages of project development and deeply understand the complexities of pulling a mining project together. We apply this experience to provide solutions that balance cost with process improvements to ensure that at the end of the day our projects deliver the best result on the bottom line.
